Aussie Dave Live is a weekly live radio show that blends classic rock, Aussie favourites, and unpredictable on-air moments into a nostalgic throwback to the golden age of radio.  It has been on air for the last 5 years.

Broadcast every Sunday at 8 pm (AEST) on Shack Radio, the show originates from Dave’s studio in Cowra, NSW and is streamed to listeners across Australia and around the world.

The show is also carried on community stations Via Ngaarda Radio, further extending its reach on both terrestrial and DAB radio.

The program features a mix of music, listener requests, shout-outs, and spontaneous live radio moments, all delivered in a deliberately old-school style that celebrates how radio used to sound, complete with quirks, character, and the occasional “that wasn’t meant to happen” surprise.

In addition to its live broadcast, Aussie Dave Live is also replayed and available on demand and can be heard via streaming platforms such as Spotify, allowing listeners to catch up anytime, anywhere. 

At its heart, Aussie Dave Live is more than just a music show. It’s a character-driven, interactive experience filled with running jokes, recurring shout-outs, and a loyal community of listeners who are as much a part of the show as the host himself.
